Introduction
Quality Schools International (QSI) of Shenzhen, a non-profit institution that began in August 2006, offers a high quality education in the English language for preschool (age 2 – 4), elementary (age 5 – 11) and middle school (age 12 – 13).
The school is in a remodelled building located in the Futian district. The building has 15 classrooms, a multipurpose room, library, and computer lab. There is a large playground/sports field with space to play soccer, badminton and basketball.
The Curriculum
Preschool – develop learning readiness, physical coordination and development, and the social skills necessary to be successful in a classroom setting
Elementary and Middle School – Mathematics, Reading and Language Arts, Science, Culture Studies, Art, Music, Computers and Physical Education. Mandarin is taught as a foreign language.
