Introduction
Quality Schools International (QSI) of Shenzhen, a non-profit institution that began in August 2001, offers a high quality education in the English language for preschool (age 2 – 4), elementary (age 5 – 11), middle school (age 12 – 13) and secondary (age 14 – 18).
The school is a remodeled building, designed specifically for a school with general classrooms, multiple science labs, computer labs, two (2) soccer pitches and three (3) athletic courts. Art, music, drama and a variety of after school activities are also offered.
The Curriculum
Preschool – develop learning readiness, physical coordination and development, and the social skills necessary to be successful in a classroom setting
Elementary and Middle School – Mathematics, Reading and Language Arts, Science, Culture Studies, Art, Music, Computers and Physical Education. Mandarin is taught as a foreign language.
Secondary – four year preparation of students for colleges and universities around the world – Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma courses are offered.
