Introduction

Established since 2002, Gypsys was acknowledged by China Expat Magazine and chinaexpat.com as one of the top 10 restaurants in China and the Best Restaurant in Shenzhen, in their 2006 National Bar and Restaurant Awards. Australian owned, Gypsys presents an excellent cosmopolitan menu to an eclectic client mix.

From delicious imported steaks, pizzas, pasta, and the best fish and chips in Shekou, TexMex (great Fajitas), Kebabs to curries. Salads as a starter or main will satisfy vegetarians.

Desserts feature Pavlova, Banana Crepes, Waffles, and Brownies. Well known for their generous serving’s Gypsys will satisfy the hungriest of diners. Popular with families a children’s menu is also available.

With an extensive affordable wine list, their wines are the most competitively priced wines in Shenzhen. With choices of over 60 wines, largely from Australia and a selection from Chile, Argentina, USA, New Zealand, Italy and France, this wine list will suit all palates.

Additionally there is a good selection of Australian beers as well as International beers.

English speaking staff who are trained to be attentive but not obtrusive. Western service protocols are emphasized and very much a priority.

A light, relaxed and casual décor together with unobtrusive and selective music makes for a very inviting dining experience. Gypsys provides for “all day dining” and have a strong “Brunch” clientele on week-ends.
