Hi – We are all UK passport holders and in Hong Kong for 3 days & wanted to spend 1 day/night visiting Shenzhen before we head back to HK for a weeks holiday in Singapore.

Can we just arrive and apply for 5 day visa to Shenzhen at the port, day before we leave or are we best to apply as we travel from HK to Shenzhen?

Many thanks,

Joe

I’m a Bulgarian, holding a Bulgarian passport. I’m flying to Hong Kong at the end of the month.

Can I get a 5-days visa to Shenzhen at Lo Wu border?

Update: May 3, 2013:

Canadian, coming from HK, used to live in SZ, but my old visa just expired and I needed to do some banking there. Arrived at LuoHu at 9:07am and was out by 9:09 queuing up at customs. 168rmb. 5 days. It’s just like a normal Chinese visa and takes a whole page, so I’d recommend getting a multiple entry visa if you’re going to go there more than once or twice in the next year.

Russian’s are not currently eligible for visa on arrival. You will need to apply for a normal Chinese visa.

is it really Indonesian not eligible for VOA at Louhu? My Indonesian friend used to get in in 2008… and I also read in one forum, one Indonesian lady used to get VOA somewhere in 2011. Is that the new rules that Indonesian cant get VOA anymore? please help..tq

I am a American citizen who holds a Crew Visa, can I still able to go to Shenzhen without a visa, or can I get a 5 days visa in ShenZhen border?

I’m not sue, You might be able to get a 1 day transit visa when you land? But if you are going to spend more than a day there you will need to apply for a visa in advance. American’s are unable to obtain a visa on arrival.

You cannot travel anywhere in Asia (and really the world) with less than 6 months in your visa. You will need to get it renewed.

I am a Zambian, thinking to travel to Guangzhou and stay for 10 days 2 nights. Can me and my wife (both are zambians and already been to China before) apply Visa on arrival in SheKou? What kind of document & photo need to submit and how much is the Visa Fee? Look forward to hearing from you soon. Thank you
